Preserve Georgia’s Waterways: How to Volunteer for Rivers Alive
It’s that time again! Many of our affiliates participate in this popular cleanup series led by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Outreach Program. With the intent of keeping all watersheds within state lines trash-free, volunteers target streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, and wetlands. In 2023, they cleaned nearly 1,200 miles in total. Browse our list to discover events hosted or co-hosted by members of the KGBF network.
